What attendees are saying:

I was totally blown away by our retreat… Katy created such a warm and caring environment that allowed us all to bond and grow together. I felt totally allowed and encouraged to be myself and to openly participate in every activity some of which I never would have seen myself doing before. I had many moments of clarity and Katy made mindfulness make sense for the first time… I feel like I gained much needed perspective and piece of my heart that was broken feels mended after this weekend. I feel at peace, and totally capable to handle whatever comes with a spirit of curiosity and mindfulness. I carry with me beautiful friendships that were forged over just two days, and so many tools to keep this going. You owe it to yourself to take the time and attend Katy’s next retreat!”

- Leslie Waye, MSN, RN

It was everything I didn’t know I needed and more!… Can’t thank Katy enough for such a fabulous weekend and making me feel at ease from start to finish! Would highly recommend to anyone thinking about joining this!”

- Sophie Bowen Jones

“I had no idea how much I needed this. I could literally see the transformation in myself and others when it was time to head home. Katy was an incredible small group facilitator…guiding us through all kinds of activities with practical solutions for implementing approachable mindfulness practices into daily life… I left the retreat feeling relaxed, energized, and empowered with ways to quiet the noise and keep my cup filled as I pour into others — plus I made lots of new friends, and I don’t feel so alone in how I was feeling. Everyone in our group was so open, honest and vulnerable. Katy did a great job of making everyone feel comfortable, safe and supported as we shared, learned and grew through the weekend… I’d 100% recommend one of these retreats to others!”

- Amy Scalia

Katy put her heart and soul into this retreat. Everything was carefully planned and thought out perfectly to meet the needs of the participants… I would give this retreat a 5 star review for sure! I worked on myself and have new tools in my toolbox that will provide meaningful positive changes.”

- Renee Woodie, MSN, RN

MORE TESTIMONIALS:

"Katy is a kind, creative soul who makes you feel important and seen. As someone who doesn't consider creative workshops with strangers within my "comfort zone," I felt a little unsure about what to expect... However, Katy created a welcoming atmosphere from beginning to end. I felt safe enough to share some difficult inner struggles that to my surprise, others shared as well. Thanks to Katy's beautiful music and her personality of equal parts poise and approachability, I actually felt comfortable being vulnerable."

-Daisy Zimmer – Owner, Daisy Zimmer Photography, LLC

"Katy managed to create an atmosphere where everyone present felt comfortable to share their fears and their dreams; by the end, we were a team working together to motivate one another. Katy's counseling training is what helps to set this mindfulness experience apart from others. She understands how to gently guide participants through real and, at times, painful issues while simultaneously empowering them to reach for the happiness they deserve. It was much needed self-care!”

-Marla Carano — Communications Lecturer @ OSU
